ReStore Warehouse Specialist Needed

As a Warehouse Specialist, you will support our mission of the Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity by ensuring we get well-prepared product to the sales floor in short order. This highly collaborative position provides support to our Sales Specialists in the placement and organization of product for sale. 

The ReStore Warehouse Specialist is directly responsible for:

• Interacting positively with donors, customers, and volunteers.

• Maintaining a high level of standards regarding pricing and preparation of products for our selling floor.

• Walk the sales and warehouse each morning to familiarize oneself with current conditions and inventory levels.

• Utilizing hand and approved power equipment in a safe manner.

• Planning for new arrivals, large and small, by working with partners to ensure product hits the sales floor as quickly as possible.

• Merchandising and displaying items in an attractive, sellable manner as needed.

• Checking the workboard each day to prioritize tasks for the day.

• This position does require physical labor (standing, walking, bending, heavy lifting).

• Coordinating efforts with partners to ensure each area is in sync with another on processes and special projects.

• Moving merchandise onto and off the sales floor as needed.

• Ensuring all supply levels are maintained.

• Maintaining a safe workspace, ensuring standards are maintained and enforced.

• Following all store policies and procedures.

• Supporting the ReStore in reaching annual goals.

• Performing all other duties as needed.

This is not an all-encompassing list of responsibilities; the Specialist will support the store mission as directed by management. The position is full-time, with an expected average work week of 40 hours. The ReStore is open Tuesdays through Saturdays. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

From $17/Hour, based on experience

Qualifications 

Ability to be flexible with responsibilities

Proven ability to work independently

Three years warehouse experience, some supervisory experience preferred

Trained in warehouse equipment, forklift certification preferred
